Latest Ultrasound

Here is the latest picture of our sweet babies. Both babies were moving around like crazy today. It was so amazing to see them with arms and legs, finger and toes. We both loved every second of seeing them. They measured 12w4d (right on with what our RE says). Baby A had a heartrate of 171 and Baby B was 160. I will write more later. I just wanted to give a quick update.

Very cute!!! I love seeing their little feet. I think they are so cute on ultrasound.

Look at your babies. They are precious. I'm thinking same sex now just based on the heart rate. (wink)

Our History

Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) test: August 18, 2006
(results: Left fallopian tube dilated, some spillage, right fallopian tube could not be fully filled, but "looked" clear)
Referred to an RE June 2008
After reading all of medical records RE thought that both fallopian tubes looked to be blocked from 2006. :(
Several blood tests/semen analysis all normal
IUI July 2008 = BFN
Laparoscopy/Hysteroscopy August 2008
(Results: Level III Endometriosis, left ovary cyst, scar tissue, polyp in uterus, all removed)
IUI November 2008 = BFN
More blood tests = all normal
Found Dr. D in Chattanooga Jan 2009 did a phone consult recommended IVF
Feb 2009: First appointment with Dr. D
Currently preparing for April IVF

What is endometriosis?

A painful, chronic disease that affects millions of women worldwide. It occurs when tissue like that which lines the
uterus (endometrium) is found outside the uterus -- usually in the abdomen on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, the lining
of the pelvic cavity and many other sites. This misplaced tissue develops into growths or lesions which respond
to the menstrual cycle in the same way that the tissue of the uterine lining does. This results pain (abdominal or
pelvic), fatigue, infertility, back pain, and bowel problems.
